Welcome to the 2nd Gothenburg Zouk Weekend with Fernando 20-22 Februari 2015!
We have the huge pleasure to announce that Fernando is COMING BACK from Germany for his second visit in Gothenburg! Fernandos workshops were highly appreciated last year, and he is well known for his musicality and creativity in zouk, We can assure you that this will be a very exciting and inspiring follow-up weekend, and you shouldn´t miss the opportunity! It will be an Fernando 4 arrangement for both new and old fans of Fernando! 

Content / level:
The level will gradually increase during the weekend. We start at the Intermediate level and during the last workshops on Sunday the level will be Advanced.
If you have experience from other dances and/or have tried some zouk before it will be possible to join in! Important then to contact the organizer in advance!
Saturday: We will work on the connection with the partner in order to be able to better understand and find even more joy in leading and following. In addition we will learn some new and really nice combinations for the party.
Sunday: We will work on our musicality and learn new beautiful movements to raise our creativity.

Both days we will train not just the body for the zouk movements: We want to go deep in the psychological work for helping you to get into the zouk flow and enjoy the most you can of this dance.

Workshops: Annedalsgården, Carl Grimbergsgaran 52, Göteborg (tram stop: Seminariegatan or Olivedalsgatan)
Friday party: To be announced
Saturday party: Föreningen BrasilSverige (Brasilianska Föreningen), Stampgatan 8, 2nd floor (tram stop: Centralstationen)
Both venues have terrific wooden dance floors. (Note: The floor at Annedalsgården can by some people be perceived as a bit slippery.)

Price:
Early Bird 780 SEK only! Until 2015-02-02
Full pass (workshops + saturday party): 1000 SEK
Saturday (workshops) or Sunday (workshops): 650 SEK (early bird 540 SEK)
Discount on full pass price: Students get 200 SEK off the price (1000-200 = 800 SEK)
Saturday party (without full pass): 90 SEK (cash only)

Private lessons with Fernando: can be booked through annawahlgren@yahoo.se, good opportunities on Monday 23/2, a few hours also on Sunday evening 22/2. Price: 50 Euro/hour 1 person, 60 Euro/hour couple

”Hi everybody! I’m very happy to be with you and with the lovely Anna again in Gothenburg next month. The last year we had a really great time and I have a lot of nice memories of that weekend. Thank you! It will be wonderful to meet you again and to make some new friends too!

The last year we did something very special: we had the opportunity to focus not just in zouk movements but a little bit too in the philoshophy of zouk. This time I want to work with you the psychological part of the dance: to prepare your mind for the dance and to get into the flow. You know the flow: when the time is flying and you have the feeling, you become one with your partner and with the music. After such kind of dance you feel like you were in Paradise! We want to get there!

On Saturday we will do that work focusing in the connection with the partner and on Sunday focusing in the connection with the Musik. And don’t forget the party on Saturday!

Additional info: Fernando is originally from Spain but lives and teaches weekly in Bremen/Germany where he has his own dance school. His main zouk style is Rio Zouk mixed with M Zouk-elements. He is well known for his musicality in zouk and for creating a very friendly and inspiring atmosphere during his classes!

Fernando är särskilt känd för sin härliga musikalitet, kreativa dansstil och inspirerande undervisning. KICK OFF Nu drar terminen äntligen igång! 🙂 Vi rivstartar med en särskild kick off :-)Tisdagen den 29e januari erbjuder Zouk Devotion i samarbete med Zouk Göteborg Dansförening en helkväll i Zouk på Kulturhuset Oceanen i Göteborg. Två timmar gratis zouk-lektion följt av två timmar socialdans. Missa inte! Varmt välkomna 🙂
